Riding the Storm: Langsung Electric's Sales Performance in the First Half of 2020 is Promising
In the first half of 2020, despite the impact of the pandemic, Langsung Electric faced challenges head-on and achieved a favorable sales performance. As of the end of June, the total order value reached RMB 64.58 million, representing a 70% year-on-year increase.
Its overseas business stood out notably: it won the bid for the second terminal building project of the Zanzibar Airport in Tanzania, undertaken by Beijing Construction Engineering Group; it also secured a subcontracting role in the expansion project of the Male International Airport in the Maldives, with expected delivery of the project by the end of the year.
Langsung Electric successfully won the bid as a subcontractor for the 900MW combined cycle power plant project of Harbin Electric International's Pakistan Bin Qasim Phase III. The project scope includes the full EPC turnkey work, covering design, construction, procurement, transportation, installation, commissioning, and warranty. The company will provide medium-voltage switchgear and fast transfer device panels.
Going forward, the company will continue to integrate its resources, respond to the "Belt and Road Initiative," and provide integrated product-technology-service solutions for its clients. It will continuously enhance its internationalization level and competitiveness, striving to make the Langsung brand renowned worldwide.
