Summary
Enclosed busbar is an electrical power transmission system designed to safely and efficiently carry high currents in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure applications. It consists of a metallic enclosure (e.g., steel, aluminum, or fire-resistant panels), conductive bars (copper, aluminum, or copper-aluminum composites), insulating materials, and supporting components. It is widely used in power generation, transformation, and distribution systems.
Structural Characteristics
- The aluminum-magnesium alloy enclosure is lighter, with better sealing and heat dissipation. Its special structure has sufficient mechanical strength to support and protect the bus duct system.
- The "connection set type" method is more convenient.
- Specialized connectors make the bus connection simpler and the installation faster.
- High-grade insulation materials - safer.
- The conductor surface has a multi-layer Class B (130°C) polymer film with a thickness of up to 0.5mm.
- The contact parts of the bus conductor are tin-plated, which improves contact resistance and prevents electrochemical corrosion.
- The enclosure (excluding the heat dissipation holes) can provide a protection rating of IP40 to IP65 or higher.
